We wanted to start the year strong in our community with a 10-day juicing challenge from January 8-17. Many of us in the mucus-free community follow the “no-breakfast” plan as laid out by Ehret, opting for fresh fruit or vegetable juice instead. To get started we must get to know a little bit about how a practitioner of Arnold Ehret’s Mucusless Diet Healing System thinks about what they put into their body.
Food as Tools!
We often hear people talk about the vibrant colors and incredible taste of fresh ripe fruits and homemade juices. However, many practitioners of Ehret’s Mucusless Diet Healing System see various mucusless and “mucus-lean” foods, as well as different drinks, primarily as tools to help the body eliminate waste. Dietary choices in this system are centered around how effectively one can control (accelerate or decelerate) the elimination of waste within the body.
